It began in 2018 as an investment group focused on monthly savings and credit among its members, aimed at financially empowering them. Recognizing the challenges many individuals face in accessing financial services from commercial banks, TUAG was founded to serve marginalized communities with the same financial offerings.
Our mission is to improve the livelihoods of underserved households by financially enabling them to transform opportunities into long-term economic success.
Our business community had long been misunderstood by foreign-owned corporates who failed to customize services to local needs. As a result, many struggled to thrive. TUAG was created to localize financial services and products. We blend deep knowledge of banking, business, and local culture to serve our customers with a customized, community-driven approach
We envision a fully-fledged bank with branches across all regions of Uganda, providing youth and local entrepreneurs easy access to financial services that promote full economic empowerment.
